Journalist Antón Castro published an article in Heraldo de Aragón (Leisure and Culture section, 7 December) about the preparations for the centenary of the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation, which will be celebrated in 2026. In his article, he notes that the programme will include a travelling exhibition visiting nine locations in the basin, an institutional documentary, a commemorative book and various educational activities.

Castro highlights the territorial focus of the project: the exhibition will travel along the Ebro from Fontibre to Tortosa, showcasing the historical evolution and role of the CHE in water management over the course of a century. He also recalls the creation of the organisation in 1926 as the first model of basin management, and sees the centenary as an opportunity to explain this legacy in the context of new environmental challenges.

With this publication, Heraldo de Aragón incorporates the Centenary into cultural and regional news, highlighting the scope of the programme and its informative nature.
