The National Lottery dedicates its ticket for March 7 to the centenary of the CHE

The National Lottery dedicates a commemorative ticket to the centenary of the Confederación Hidrográfica del Ebro (CHE) in the draw on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The ticket image reproduces the illustration “Birth of the Ebro,” used on the first cover (1927) of the magazine of the then Confederación Sindical Hidrográfica del Ebro (CSHE).

The work is by Ángel Díaz Domínguez, a visual artist and creator of the covers and graphic materials for the Confederación Sindical magazines. These were publications designed to explain and disseminate the work of the Confederación and its relationship with the territory.

In the past, those covers served to explain what the Confederación did and to illustrate its works and decisions. Today the same illustration returns on a lottery ticket: it circulates, is kept, and is discussed. Then knowledge was shared; now, by sharing a ticket, a double hope is also shared: that of the prize and that of the Centenary.
