Edificio cultural en Reinosa vinculado al entorno del embalse del Ebro, referente histórico en la gestión hidráulica y en la memoria de la Confederación CHE

17 December, 2025 11:00 1 February, 2026 20:30

Reinosa, located next to the Fontibre springs, is the birthplace of the Ebro and a meeting point for routes, landscapes, and cultures in northern Spain. The city and its surroundings have always been linked to water management, both in everyday life and in the industrial and social memory of the Campoo region. From reservoir regulation to the glassmaking and metallurgical tradition, the Ebro has been an engine of development and a central element of Reinosa’s identity.

The relationship between Reinosa and the CHE is historic. The Ebro Reservoir was planned here, and some of the basin’s first hydraulic infrastructure projects were launched, marking the beginning of coordinated, sustainable management of the resource.
